Morris Visitor Publications Acquires MAPSouth Publishing
AUGUSTA, GA — August 21, 2007 — Morris Visitor Publications has expanded its map publishing capacity with the acquisition of Atlanta-based MAPSouth Publishing. The announcement was made today by Tom Casey, president of MVP.
Huber has joined MVP as director of maps, and will expand and produce new products for the company's Where Maps. Previously, Huber had also served as president of MAPSouth Publishing and has 15 years of experience in map publications and sales.
"The addition of MAPSouth Publishing's products will augment our expanding Where Map line to the benefit our readers and advertisers," Casey said. "Christopher's expertise in creating and producing maps will be an asset as we identify new markets for future growth of our visitor maps."
MVP publishes visitor maps in more than 40 markets in the United States and abroad.
