AUGUSTA, Ga. - Connie L. Cotner has been named circulation director for the national magazine division of Morris Communications Corp., effective July 10. She is based in the corporate office in Augusta.

Most recently, Cotner has been circulation manager and acting circulation director for Amos Press Inc., a multi-title publisher of magazines and newspapers, located in Sidney, Ohio. She is also an experienced accounting manager.

"We are very pleased to welcome Connie to our company," said President Will Morris. "Her strong background in magazine circulation will be an asset to the growing magazine division. Connie also will be important to our strategy of centralizing the circulation responsibilities for all of our titles, including the Cowboy Publishing Group."

The Morris magazine division is responsible for Gray's Sporting Journal; Alaska magazine; Destination Alaska; The MILEPOST, an Alaska travel guide; Quarter Horse News; Barrel Horse News; and The Horsetrader.

Morris Communications is a privately held media company with diversified holdings that include newspaper and magazine publishing, outdoor advertising, radio broadcasting, book publishing and distribution, and computer services.
