AUGUSTA, Ga.— Morris Equine Group, the equine and Western-related magazine publishing arm of Morris Communications Co., has launched a new magazine, Western Lifestyle Retailer. The announcement was made today by publisher Rick Swan and Morris Chairman and Chief Executive Officer William S. Morris III.

Published in January and September, Western Lifestyle Retailer provides a comprehensive product directory of Western fashion and lifestyle-related business in every issue. The editorial focus concentrates exclusively on Western fashion, accessories, jewelry, gifts and home decor product categories, and is illustrated by top fashion photographers. Western Lifestyle Retailer reaches dedicated retailers of Western lifestyle products, as well as crossover boutiques that carry hints of traditional Western products.

"This unique magazine will serve a niche in the Western retail industry and keep retailers up to date on Western-related retail choices," Swan said. "We will be highlighting the best of the best in Western products, benefiting retailers and their customers alike."

Morris said he expects the magazine to maintain the same high standards as other well-received Morris Equine Group titles, such as Western Horseman and Equestrian Retailer.

"We welcome Western Lifestyle Retailer to the Morris family of publications," Morris said. "It adds a forward-looking dimension to our already extensive coverage of equine and Western-related topics."
