AUGUSTA, Ga. Morris DigitalWorks has expanded its international reach with the licensing of mdTransit to an Australian firm. The agreement with Melbourne-based Sensis was announced today by William S. Morris IV, president of Morris Communications, MDW's parent company.

MdTransit is an online advertising application that focuses on driving customer interest and demand in autos to local advertisers with detailed supporting information to aid in consumers' online research.

Morris DigitalWorks' first international licensing agreement was made in 2003 for the mdDisplay tool with Torstar Corporation, a Toronto, Canada-based communication group with holdings that include The Toronto Star. In 2005, Morris DigitalWorks signed a licensing agreement with Brazilian Associados for mdClassifieds, mdRealEstate and mdTransit, and partnered with the company to market MDW applications throughout Brazil. Earlier this year, Morris DigitalWorks launched its photo blogging tool for its first offshore client, The Royal Gazette in Bermuda.
