AUGUSTA, Ga.- Fairway Outdoor Advertising has increased its coverage of the South Carolina upstate area with the acquisition of Abbott Sign Co. Inc. The announcement was made today by Mark Moyer, president of Fairway.
Abbott’s signs are concentrated along the I-26 and I-85 corridors in upstate South Carolina, an area that has experienced increases in economic development and highway traffic in the past several years. The new billboards will be operated by Fairway’s GSA branch office in Duncan, S.C.
"The South Carolina upstate region is one of the fastest growing areas of the Southeast and there is an increasing demand for outdoor advertising," Moyer said. "Adding this company's assets to our own will expand the reach of our advertisers and allow us to better serve the community."
Moyer said the new assets will augment what is already the largest branch of Fairway, increasing the company's presence on the roadways between Charlotte and Atlanta.
Headquartered in Augusta, Fairway Outdoor Advertising has branch offices in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Tennessee. Fairway also provides services to clients in Virginia and Alabama. For more information, visit fairwayoutdoor.com.
