Florida Times-Union Editorial Staff Members Awarded Top Honors in SNPA’s Carmage Walls Commentary Prize Competition
Jacksonville, FL – October 8, 2014
This morning, several editorial staff members from the Florida Times-Union took home first-place honors in the “over 50,000” circulation category of the Southern Newspaper Publishers Assocation (SNPA) Carmage Walls Commentary Prize competition.
Members of the first-place Times-Union team included Mike Clark, Roger Brown, Wayne Ezell and Ron Littlepage.
The judges were very impressed with the team’s strength in writing, focus on an important local issue, tangible results and depth of reporting that drove the editorials and a blog entry. Click here to read their award-winning editorials and to learn more about the awards.
