Morris Media Network Chosen as Publisher for Royal Hawaiian Center Magazine
HONOLULU (October 23, 2017) — RHC Property Holdings LLC has awarded Morris Media Network (MMN) with a three-year contract to publish R Magazine, Royal Hawaiian Center’s official publication. The Center, located on three city blocks of Kalakaua Avenue, is the premier shopping, dining, entertainment and cultural destination in Waikiki. Standing upon a parcel of land known as Helumoa, Hawaiian culture is celebrated daily with a variety of complimentary cultural-arts activities and live entertainment featuring Hawaiian music and hula performances.
“The MMN team provided a very strong and well-organized presentation,” says Helene “Sam” Shenkus, the Center’s vice president and director of marketing. “We are very grateful for their commitment to being a stakeholder and active partner with Royal Hawaiian Center in the publishing of R Magazine and we look forward to working together.”
R Magazine is an award-winning glossy quarterly publication, which focuses on the Center’s fashion, culture and cuisine. Morris’ winning proposal offers an integrative multimedia strategy that will include print, digital and video, bringing the pages of the magazine to a new dimension.
“We are thrilled to continue our long-standing relationship with Royal Hawaiian Center,” says MMN group publisher William “Buddy” Moore. “The creative and comprehensive MMN vision for R Magazine will give the Center and its merchants more national and international exposure.”
