This Privacy Policy describes the privacy practices for all websites, including mobile sites and applications (each a “site”), operated by Morris Communications Company, LLC, and its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively, “Morris”, “we”, “us” or “our”) and applies to the Personal Information that Morris collects and may use related to consumers and users. “Personal Information” means information that identifies, relates to, describes, references, or is reasonably capable of being associated with a particular consumer or a consumer’s electronic device.
This Privacy Policy is applicable to the websites and mobile applications operated by Morris, including the site from which you accessed this policy. It also applies to the related online services that we provide through our websites and mobile apps (the “services”).
By using the sites and/or the services and providing us with Personal Information, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy, Terms of Service and the Cookie Policy (collectively, the “Agreements”) and to the updates to these policies posted from time to time. If you do not agree with the Agreements without limitation or qualification, you should not access or use the site. General Statement on Privacy
We are committed to protecting consumer privacy online. We believe that greater protection of personal privacy on the internet will not only protect consumers, but also increase consumer confidence and ultimately their participation in online activities. We intend to give you as much control as possible over your personal information. The purpose of our policy is to inform you about the types of information we gather about you when you visit our site, how we may use that information, whether we disclose it to anyone, and the choices you have regarding our use of, and your ability to correct, the information. Please note this policy applies only to information collected by us on our sites and does not impact information collected or used by us through other means.
Personal Information We Collect from Users
(A) Personal Information You Provide to Us
How we collect and store information depends on the page you are visiting, the activities in which you elect to participate, and the services provided. You can visit many pages on our site without providing any information. Other pages may prompt you to provide information, such as when you register for access to portions of our site, sign up for membership, request certain features (e.g., newsletters, news updates and other products), sign up for a magazine or similar subscription or make a purchase. You may also provide information when you participate in sweepstakes and contests, voting and polling activities, blogs, message boards and chat rooms and other interactive areas of our site.
Examples of Personal Information you provide us are listed below, but please note that these examples are illustrative and not intended to be exhaustive:

- Account information and log in credentials, including unique identifiers such as username and password;
- Payment and transaction information including credit or bank card information;

- Access to your geo-location (including through our mobile app) or to other data held on social media platforms and other software (for example, access to your contacts, calendar or photos);
- Photos and/or videos; and
- Additional information as otherwise described to you at the point of collection or pursuant to your consent.
(B) Personal Information We May Automatically Collect
Like most website operators, we also collect information automatically and through the use of electronic tools. For example, we may log the name of your internet service provider or use cookie technology. Among other things, the cookie may store your username and password, sparing you from having to re-enter that information each time you visit, or may control the number of times you encounter a particular advertisement while visiting our site. As we adopt additional technology, we may also gather information through other means. In certain cases, you can choose not to provide us with information, for example by setting your browser to refuse to accept cookies. Keep in mind that doing so may limit your ability to access certain portions of the site. Additionally, we may not be able to customize the site’s features according to your preferences. - Your movement and activity within the site, which is aggregated with other Personal information;
- Geo-location information through the use of any of our mobile applications; and
- Mobile application identification and behavior, use, and aggregated usage, performance data, and where the application was downloaded from.
(C) Personal Information We May Receive from Third Parties.
We may collect additional Personal Information about you from third-party websites, social media platforms, such as, but not limited, to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, SnapChat (“Social Media”), third-party data providers, and sources providing publicly-available Personal information for the purposes described below. Personal Information we may access from Social Media may include, but is not limited to:
- Your Social Media login information;
- Your location data;
- Your profile information;
- Your list of contacts, friends or followers; and
- Certain Personal Information about your activities on the Social Media.
Please keep in mind that when you provide Personal Information to us on a third-party website or platform (for example, via our applications), the Personal Information you provide may be separately collected by the third-party website or the Social Media. Use of Personal Information
We use and process your Personal Information for the following types of purposes (the examples provided are illustrative and not intended to be exhaustive).
- To provide you with the sites and services, and related promotions, newsletters and information you request;
- To respond to your inquiries and provide you with requested information and other communications, including but not limited to by email or text messages, and including alerts, notification of promotions, contests, and events;
- For marketing and advertising purposes, including sending you promotional material or special offers on our behalf or on behalf of our marketing partners and/or their respective affiliates and other third parties, provided that you have not already opted-out of receiving such communications;
- For billing and payment processing;
- To deliver personalized advertising and content;
- To fulfill contracts we have with you;
- To manage, improve and foster relationships with third-party service providers, including vendors, suppliers, and parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, and business partners;
- To comply with our Agreements;
- To perform analytics for business purposes and business intelligence, such as monitoring traffic to our sites, counting ad impressions, and auditing legal and regulatory compliance;
- To maintain the safety, security, and integrity of our sites, products and services, databases and other technology assets and our business, including preventing fraud, detecting security breaches and prosecuting violators;
- To diagnose and repair errors in our sites’ functionality and technical support for the operation of our site (our web hosting service and our newsletter provider, for example) may access such information;
- To evaluate or conduct a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of our assets, in which Personal Information we hold is among the assets transferred;
- To comply with any applicable laws and regulations and respond to lawful requests;
- To contact you regarding functionality changes to our services or site and to develop new features and functionality to our services and site;
- To find and prevent fraud;
- To register your domain and IP address through ARIN (American Registry for Internet Numbers); and
For any other purposes disclosed to you at the time we collect your Personal Information and/or pursuant to your consent.
In addition, aggregated Information (information that does not personally identify you) may be used in many ways. As one example, we may combine information about your usage patterns with similar information obtained from other users to learn which pages are visited most or what features are most attractive. Aggregated information may occasionally be shared with our advertisers and business partners. Similarly, we may disclose your Personal Information to other parties, including:
- Our affiliates;
- Service providers;
- Advertisers, advertising technology companies, analytics companies and other third parties with whom we have business relationships;
- Government regulators;
- Our legal advisors and parties involved in a legal process;
- To an entity involved in the sale of our business; and
- Third parties to whom you or your agents authorize us to disclose your Personal Information in connection with products or services we provide to you.
Use of Cookies
In general, we and our third-party providers and advertisers use cookies and other technologies to optimize the functionality of the sites, to help us understand how the sites are used and to provide users with content or advertising based upon their browsing activities and interests.

Affiliated Sites, Linked Sites, and Advertisements
We expect our partners, advertisers and third-party affiliates to respect the privacy of our users. However, third parties, including our partners, advertisers and other content providers accessible through our site, may have their own privacy and data collection policies and practices. For example, during your visit to our site you may link to, or view as part of a frame on one of our pages, certain content that is actually created or hosted by a third-party. We are not responsible for the actions or policies of such third parties. While on our site, our advertisers, promotional partners or other third parties may use cookies or other technology to attempt to identify some of your preferences or retrieve information about you. For example, some of our advertising is served by third parties and may include cookies that enable the advertiser to determine whether you have seen a particular advertisement before. Through features available on our site, third parties may use cookies or other technology to gather information. We do not control the use of this technology or the resulting information and is not responsible for any actions or policies of such third parties.
Security
We use commercially reasonable procedures and various technical, administrative and physical safeguards to help protect the confidentiality of your Personal Information. However, you should assume that no data transmitted over the internet or stored or maintained by us or our third-party service providers can be 100% secure. Therefore, although we believe the measures implemented by us reduce the likelihood of security problems to a level appropriate to the type of data involved, we do not promise or guarantee, and you should not expect, that your Personal Information or private communications will always remain private or secure. We do not guarantee that your Personal Information will not be misused by third parties. We are not responsible for the circumvention of any privacy settings or security features. Further, should you choose to voluntarily disclose Personal Information on our site, such as in message boards, chat areas or in advertising or notices you post, that information can be viewed publicly and can be collected and used by third parties without our knowledge and may result in unsolicited messages from other individuals or third parties.
Limitations with Respect to Receipt and Delivery of Personal Information
You expressly acknowledge and agree that Morris shall have no responsibility or liability whatsoever associated with any Personal Information prior to its Receipt by our Equipment from any subscriber or visitor, or, if you voluntarily post your Personal Information on our site (e.g., on a forum or comment section), then we shall have no responsibility or liability whatsoever following the Delivery of Personal Information by our Equipment to any user.
“Equipment” shall be defined as any server, firewall, database or other equipment on which the services or underlying software are hosted including such equipment that is owned by us or our service providers that provide hosting and other services for provisioning and maintaining the site platform.
“Receipt” shall be defined as the instant at which any portion of your Personal Information is detected or received by our Equipment from a communication path (for example, a wired and/or wireless communication path or link) over which your Personal Information is transmitted by a user that is authorized to access or use the services.
“Delivery” shall be defined as the instant at which any portion of your Personal Information is transmitted by our Equipment and enters a communication path (for example, a wired and/or wireless communication path or link) over which the Personal Information is transmitted to a user that is authorized to access or use the services.
You expressly acknowledge and agree that we shall have no responsibility whatsoever for any breach, loss, or theft of any Personal Information on any device of a user that can access or use the site or services, or during transmission (before Receipt or, if you voluntarily disclose as set forth above, after Delivery) of such Personal Information to or from our Equipment. You agree to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law to forever defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Morris and its employees, directors, officers, successors, and assigns, including the service providers (the “Indemnified Parties”) from any and all loss, cost, liability, and expense (including reasonable attorneys’ and costs) arising out of any visitor, subscriber, their internet service provider, or your own use, storage, duplication, copying, modification, transmission, loss, or theft of any Personal Information prior to the Receipt by our Equipment or after the Delivery from our Equipment of such Personal Information that you voluntarily disclose.
Control of Your Information
You have a variety of rights regarding the use and control of your user information. Upon request, Morris will provide you with information about whether we hold any of your user information. Your rights and controls with respect to the user information that may be collected, used, or shared in connection with cookies are outlined herein and in our Cookie Policy.
You may request to delete or modify your personal account and/or any user information you may have voluntarily submitted to us (e.g., information that you provide to register for a Morris event) if you wish to do so. You may also ask to opt-out of marketing communications (you can exercise this right by clicking on the “unsubscribe” or “opt-out” link in the marketing emails we send you. If you are a resident in the European Economic Area (“EEA”), you may also ask us: to access, correct, update or delete your user information; you may object to our processing of this information, ask us to restrict our processing of your user information, or request portability of your user information. Similarly, if we have collected and processed your user information with your consent, then you can withdraw your consent at any time. However, please note that withdrawing your consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing we conducted prior to your withdrawal, nor will it affect processing of your user information conducted in relation on lawful processing grounds other than consent. If you make a request under this section, keep in mind that we may ask you for additional information to confirm your identity to ensure that we are providing access to information about the correct person. We will do our best to respond to your request within 30 days and, in any event, we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable data protection and/or consumer privacy law.
Children
The sites and services are not intended for use by children under the age of 13. In addition, we do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13, although certain third-party sites that we link to may do so. These third-party sites have their own terms of use and privacy policies and we encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s internet usage and to help enforce our Privacy Policy by instructing their children to never provide information on our sites without their permission.
In accordance with the provisions of the Children’s Online Privacy Act, in the event that we do begin collecting any Personal Information or data from children under the age of 13, we will notify parents first, and will seek parental or guardian consent to collect, use and/or disclose certain Personal Information from children under the age of 13. Parents may consent to our collection and use of their child’s Personal Information without consenting to the disclosure of that information to others.
European Economic Area Rights
Individuals located in the EAA may have additional statutory rights available to them with respect to their personal information. Morris may transfer or use your Personal Information as discussed above, including transferring your Personal Information outside the EEA relying on appropriate or suitable safeguards recognized under data protection laws, including the GDPR. The European Commission has adopted standard data protection clauses, which provide safeguards for Personal Information transferred outside of the EEA. We may use standard contractual clauses when transferring Personal Information from a country in the EEA to a country outside the EEA. If your Personal Information is affected, you can request a copy of our standard contractual clauses by contacting us. Also, as outlined in this Privacy Policy, Morris will not process your user information without a lawful basis to do so. Our legal basis for collecting and using your user information as described above will depend on the user information concerned and the specific context in which we collect it. In general, Morris will process your user information on the legal bases of consent, contract (if you have entered into an agreement with us and such processing is a necessary part thereof), or legal obligation as noted herein. If we ask you to provide user information to comply with a legal requirement or so we can perform a contract with you, we will make this clear at the relevant time and advise you whether the provision of this user information is mandatory or not (as well as of the possible consequences if you do not provide this user information). Morris may also process certain user information on the basis of the following legitimate interests, provided that such interests are not overridden by your privacy rights and interests: delivering and continuing to develop and improve the site, learning from your behavior on the site (e.g., analyzing traffic) to better serve you and other site users, helping us modify or enhance the site and its content, and providing a stable, consistent, and secure user experience in connection with the site.
Retention
We will retain your user information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the site, unless you have revoked your consent or requested to delete certain user information; and we may retain certain user information for specific legitimate interests where we have an ongoing business need (for example, relating to core site functionalities (such as fraud-prevention and account recovery), or to comply with applicable tax, legal or accounting requirements).
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to use your user information, we will either delete or anonymize it or, if this is not possible then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing.
Changes to Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time, however, should we change the Privacy Policy in a material way, and a notice will be posted on our website along with the updated Privacy Policy. If you disagree with the changes, you may terminate your relationship with us, effective as of such date.
